DyeMansion's industrial post-processing platform is the de facto standard for premium SLS and MJF nylon surfaces. The PolyShot Surfacing system (PSS) uniformly de-powders and smooths nylon parts through controlled micro-blasting — improving mechanical properties while eliminating the inconsistency of manual sanding. DyeColor then delivers deep, uniform color penetration using industrial dyes with Pantone matching, giving each part a consistent, fade-resistant finish.
Automated surface smoothing — reduces Ra by up to 70%. Improves tensile strength by ~10% while uniformly removing powder residue from all surfaces including internal channels.

AMT's PostPro chemical vapor smoothing system applies a controlled solvent vapor to the part surface, re-flowing and sealing the top 20–30 µm of material. The result is an injection-moulding-like surface finish achieved automatically, consistently, and without dimensional distortion — a level of quality impossible to achieve manually at scale. Parts emerge sealed, waterproof, and with improved mechanical properties.
Achieves injection-moulding-comparable surface quality on 3D printed nylon and resin parts. Typical improvement from Ra 10-15 um (as-printed) down to Ra 0.5-0.9 um.
